FirstRing LLC ("FirstRing", "we", "us") is based in Hackettstown, New Jersey. We provide websites and an AI phone receptionist to local home-services businesses such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC and roofing companies. This policy covers firstringsites.com and the phone and text messaging services we operate on behalf of those businesses.
When you call a business that uses FirstRing, our AI receptionist collects only what is needed to book and carry out the job:
Calls may be recorded or transcribed so the business owner can review what was asked for. We do not ask for, and do not want, payment card numbers, bank details, Social Security numbers, or any other sensitive personal information.
Consent is verbal and is given only during a call you placed. Before booking, the receptionist asks whether you would like a text confirming your appointment, and tells you what messages to expect. A text is sent only if you clearly say yes. Your answer is recorded with a timestamp. If you decline, do not answer, or give an unclear answer, we send you nothing and do not ask again.
Messages are transactional only. For a typical appointment you can expect two to three messages: a confirmation when the appointment is booked, a reminder on the morning of the appointment, and a notice if the appointment is cancelled or changed. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies depending on how many appointments you book.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP or INFO for help. You can also simply tell the business, and we will turn messages off for your number.
Mobile phone numbers and text message consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. No mobile information is shared with anyone for marketing or promotional reasons of any kind.
Your number is used only to contact you about your own appointment with the business you called. We share it only with the service providers that make that possible — our telephony and messaging provider (Twilio) and our voice platform (Retell) — and only so the call and the message can be delivered. Those providers are not permitted to use your number for their own marketing.
We use what we collect to schedule and carry out your appointment, to let the business owner know a job has been booked, to send the messages described above, and to keep records the business needs to run its schedule. We do not sell personal information.
Appointment and contact records are kept for as long as the business needs them to service its customers and meet its own record-keeping obligations. You can ask for your information to be corrected or deleted by contacting us or the business you booked with.
firstringsites.com does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you submit an enquiry form, we use what you send only to reply to you.
Our services are intended for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
